Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Mate to join our team.
The role will be working alongside Air Conditioning engineers servicing and installing units on various sites nationwide. Applicants must be part qualified and hold a valid CSCS card.
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise in plumbing techniques and knowledge of building codes will be crucial in ensuring the safety and functionality of our clients' plumbing systems.
**Responsibilities**:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with building codes and safety regulations
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and provide appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide recommendations
- Assemble, weld, and plumb pipes using various tools and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
- Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide timely repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
**Experience**:
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and other plumbing equipment
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and components
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 weeks
Pay: £17.00 per hour
