Construction Project Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Construction Project Administrator to join our client's team in South Dublin. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prices and costs from suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Set up new projects on the company's in-house software system.
- Assist the Quantity Surveyor in sending out requests for tenders, gathering and reviewing site/unit plans, and engaging with subcontractors to review and agree quotes.
- Issue appointment letters, gather subcontracts, and Collateral Warranties at the commencement stage.
- Input budgets against plots in the system and manage changes through live budget updates.
- Liaise with the purchasing officer on any changes to budgets.
- Carry out monthly site progress reviews and update the system.
- Carry out monthly contractor valuations, update the system, and liaise with accounts for payments.
- Carry out monthly analysis on site progress and spending against budgets.
- Report monthly on project spending and cashflows.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and systems savvy.
- Previous experience in the construction industry or working on sites will be an advantage.
- Full clean driver's license and own transport essential.
- Due to the urgency of this vacancy, the client is unable to consider candidates without the appropriate work permits, visas, or sponsorships already in place.
