We are seeking a dedicated Financial Ledger Specialist to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. This role is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of our operations within the electrical services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Financial Ledger Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and updating computerized financial records to ensure precision and reliability.
- Generating Work in Progress (WIP) reports and managing sales accounting data.
- Supervising the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) process to guarantee accurate processing of all contractors.
- Providing management with regular updates on financial performance metrics.
- Reconciling supplier ledgers to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Overseeing the payroll process, including the management of employee timesheets.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, correspondence, and inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proficiency in Sage and Excel, demonstrating strong IT capabilities.
- A background in Finance or Accounting, with AAT certification preferred.
- Familiarity with CIS and Payroll legislation.
