Principal Software Engineer

Rebel Recruiters is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our team in Derbyshire. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of a full, greenfield re-write of an existing data-capture system.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in C#,.NET, and the Microsoft ecosystem. You will be working closely with our Lead Developer to design and implement a new system that meets the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a new data-capture system using C#,.NET 8, and Entity Framework/SQL Server/NoSQL
  • Work closely with the Lead Developer to ensure the system meets the business requirements
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and coding standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience in C#,.NET, and the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Proven track record of leading greenfield application development projects
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
