About the Role

You'll join our Submarines Team, working alongside our Astute Class and Dreadnought Class Submarines to provide a powerful and secure deterrent for the United Kingdom. Your expertise will be essential in designing, developing, and modelling complex systems, components, and products, including gearboxes, turbines, condensers, ocean interfaces, ventilation systems, and survival systems.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Mechanical Engineering Industrial Placement candidate, you'll be involved in a wide range of activities, from concept development to in-service operation. You'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with experienced engineers, and develop your skills in a dynamic and inclusive environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive, or Structural Engineering. You must also be returning to university to complete your degree.
