Key Qualifications:

  • Substantial experience in construction and a solid grasp of construction techniques.
  • Accreditation as an NEC4 Supervisor or NEC4 Project Manager.
  • Demonstrated integrity by consistently acting ethically and responsibly.
  • Customer-oriented mindset, aiming for excellence by understanding and addressing client needs.
  • Proven track record as an NEC Supervisor or in a comparable role within the construction sector.
  • Thorough knowledge of NEC contracts and construction methodologies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail coupled with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site visits to carry out visual assessments of workmanship and materials.
  • Ensure construction activities are in accordance with contract specifications and comply with Health & Safety regulations.
  • Participate in all testing and inspection activities to confirm adherence to contractual standards.
  • Advise on additional testing and inspections as required.
  • Site Diary Management:
  • Maintain a comprehensive daily site diary documenting activities, personnel, equipment, materials, and photographic evidence of progress.
  • Defect Notification:
  • Identify and report defects as per contractual agreements and issue defect certificates on behalf of the Employer.
  • Support for NEC Contract Management:
  • Assist the NEC4 Project Manager and NEC4 Supervisor in fulfilling their contractual duties.
  • Ensure prompt actions regarding Project Manager Instructions, Compensation Events, and Early Warnings.
