**About the Role:**

We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an inclusive and supportive SEN School in St Helens. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-on-one or group support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist pupils with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility.
  • Support pupils with behavioral challenges, using positive behavior management techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress.

**Requirements:**

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
