Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Conveyancer to join our team at Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and advising clients on all aspects of residential property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Manage and advise clients on all aspects of residential property transactions, maintaining an active caseload.

  • Work Quality: Ensure work is performed with precision and reliability, adhering to our quality and risk management procedures.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively as a team member.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on changes in law and practice relevant to your work.
  • Business Support: Support the implementation of our Business Plan.
  • Marketing: Participate in our firm's marketing initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a qualified solicitor or conveyancer with extensive experience in residential conveyancing, including freeholds, leaseholds, Licences to Alter, Lease Extensions, and Deeds of Variation. The ideal candidate will have:

Extensive experience: In residential conveyancing, including freeholds, leaseholds, Licences to Alter, Lease Extensions, and Deeds of Variation.Qualifications: A qualified solicitor or conveyancer (3 -5 years PQE)Confidence: Confidence in managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.Technical Skills: Proficient in computer systems, including case management software.Performance: Ability to meet/ exceed targetsRegulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Money Laundering Regulations, Solicitors' Account Rules, and other regulatory requirements.Experience: Experience in working within a Lexcel and CQS accredited firm is a plus.Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients at all levels.
