We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional support to young individuals in our care.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for the young people we serve.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
Requirements:
A valid UK driving licence, access to a personal vehicle, and the legal right to work in the UK.
Compensation Package:
We offer a competitive salary along with a £1,000 Welcome Bonus, distributed as follows:
- £500 after completing 1 month of service
- £500 after successfully passing a 6-month probation period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor residential childcare staff to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each young person's needs.
- Coordinate daily activities within the residential home, including meal times, recreational events, and bedtime routines.
- Serve as a primary contact for young individuals and their families, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor and evaluate the well-being and progress of the young people, documenting observations and addressing any concerns with the appropriate authorities.
Qualifications:
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or an equivalent NVQ qualification.
At Outcomes First Group, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and adults. All successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive Enhanced DBS check and will be reimbursed for the Update Service fee.
