Job Description

Role Overview

The Technical Manager - Business Operations will be responsible for managing key relationships and escalated issues within the Oakhouse & Rollover accelerator business. This role will involve liaison with the Oakhouse & Rollover supply base, monitoring supplier standards, and working with suppliers on their continual improvement to achieve Pilgrim's audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and trend complaint data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with suppliers to develop improvement plans and provide support to the customer services team in responding to complaints.
  • Responsible for the identification, segregation, and traceability of quality-assured products.
  • Liaise with EHO / FSA as required if complaints are escalated directly.
  • Involve in the NPD / EPD process from start to finish, working with the Development Chef and Supply Chain team to ensure products are developed per Oakhouse/Rollover expectations.
  • Ensure products are safe and legal with the correct legal descriptors.
  • Work with the Marketing team to ensure that the brochure is legally compliant and review brochures and other marketing materials to ensure technical compliance.
  • Own and manage all aspects of nutrition and allergen management, including supplier specification and renewal, database, and labelling.
  • Develop procedures and SOP for the use and sale of Rollover products for end users and support the site BRCGS Storage and Distribution audit.
  • Maintain and approve allergen information for distribution to end users and involve in the development and approval of new processes and equipment.
  • Provide guidance on issues faced to individual enquiries and structured presentations to the franchise network on specific issues.
  • Visit branches to ensure they are running in accordance with our standards and aid in their improvement, working with the Oakhouse Franchise Team.

Requirements

This role requires a strong understanding of business operations and technical management principles. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, as well as developing and implementing improvement plans.
