About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Exemplar Health Care. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and drink services to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the Chef in preparing and cooking meals, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef in food preparation and cooking
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents
  • Assist with cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic food safety and hygiene knowledge
