The Role
The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Officer to join its team in the School of Military Engineering (SME). As a key member of the Operations Cell, you will play a critical role in linking finances to capability outcomes that are strategically aligned to Government priorities.

About the Role
The Business Intelligence Officer will be responsible for coordinating and contributing to the work of the team, providing advice and assistance on tasks and methods of completion to team members across the SME. You will work closely with the team to effectively and efficiently use resources to deliver required outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Interpret and provide advice within the business analysis function based on legislation, policy, and procedures.
• Review and develop the quality of work undertaken by others and identify opportunities for on-the-job training within a work unit.
• Contribute to resource and financial planning and policy development for SME.
• Prepare financial reports and manage capability resources.
• Build and sustain effective relationships with team members and actively participate in team work and group activities.
