1. Overview of the Department

The Retail Team is tasked with executing front-line sales, enhancing revenue generation for the organization, and upholding retail standards through effective back-office operations. We are currently seeking to enhance our workforce, and the successful candidate will operate in a vibrant setting, playing a crucial role in shaping the initial impression of the Aston Villa Club Shop as part of a high-performing team.

2. Role Responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail & Licensing Administrator to become a part of our team located at Villa Park/Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. This position will encompass all relevant retail administration duties and address customer inquiries as they occur. Key responsibilities include managing stock levels, processing external wholesale orders, and overseeing internal orders for new merchandise.

You will be tasked with generating various reports on a weekly, monthly, or match-by-match basis, ensuring timely distribution to internal departments. Collaboration with the finance team will be essential, including raising invoices and managing purchase order queries.

3. Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will possess experience in a fast-paced retail setting, demonstrating a solid background in administrative functions. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly retail systems, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential. Experience in generating reports focused on inventory management and analyzing sales data is preferred.

This role demands strong organizational capabilities and the ability to swiftly adapt to changing circumstances. Candidates must exhibit exceptional multitasking and prioritization skills, delivering outstanding customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, ensuring clarity and accuracy when interacting with internal and external stakeholders, fostering successful relationships across various levels.
