Davies is seeking a knowledgeable Liability Claims Specialist to enhance our expanding Casualty division.

This position is ideal for a Casualty Adjuster or investigator looking for a new opportunity, who is driven and can showcase the ability to cultivate the necessary skills and expertise.

This role is Home Based, managing caseloads across Scotland, thus travel within this region is essential.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Insurers, Policyholders, and Brokers
  • Conduct investigations of assigned claims either in the field or remotely
  • Gather all required evidence and pertinent documentation
  • Draft Preliminary Reports summarizing the available evidence and providing insights on
  • Policy Indemnity, Legal Liability, Quantum, and Strategies
  • Identify suitable actions for case resolution
  • Negotiate settlements or defend claims as appropriate, within designated authority limits
  • Communicate professionally with all parties to ensure proactive case progression
  • Manage all cases in accordance with client specifications by adhering to established procedures
  • Regularly review and maintain an appropriate reserve
  • Stay informed on any technical updates relevant to your role, including participating in company-facilitated training programs
  • All staff members are expected to execute any reasonable instructions from their line manager, in alignment with business needs
