Urogynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urogynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Gynaecology nursing team, you will provide expert care to women with urogynaecological conditions, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide competent and skilled care of women with Urogynaecological conditions, working within an established multidisciplinary team.
- Work as a specialist nursing resource within the outpatient setting, providing care under direct and indirect supervision, with due regard for local and national guidelines.
- Provide effective leadership to more junior staff and act as a positive role model.
- Liaise with all members of the multi-disciplinary team in primary and secondary care, coordinating all aspects of care in the best interests of the patient and family.
- Contribute to the continuing development of practice, supervising junior staff and teaching qualified and unqualified staff as appropriate.
- First level registration as a nurse.
- Post-registration qualification in oncology or relevant to specialty.
- First Degree in health-related subject (or equivalent) or be willing to undertake.
- Experience in gynaecological / female urological nursing / continence care at least 3 years.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
