About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Support Worker at Ty Carreg, a residential care home for adults with complex needs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Support residents with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Encourage residents to participate in recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident activities, progress, and incidents.
Requirements
  • Compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts.
