Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications:

  • A solid educational background.
  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications in Mathematics and English.

  • Exceptional attention to detail when scheduling appointments to avoid breaches of waiting list targets.
  • Understanding of confidentiality protocols concerning patient and staff information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve conflicts amicably.
  • A flexible approach to work, enabling you to be multi-skilled across various service areas.
  • Reliability and punctuality to foster positive team dynamics.

Special Considerations

Essential Considerations:

  • Appointment Coordinators are required to work with visual display units and keyboards, as well as interact with patients and other contacts both in person and over the phone.
  • The outpatient services may operate during various hours, and staff may be expected to work on a rotational basis to cover absences.
