Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the academy's pastoral care team, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education and support.
- Behaviour and Attitudes: Develop and implement strategies to improve student behaviour and attitudes, working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents.
- Safeguarding: Ensure that the academy's safeguarding policies and procedures are implemented effectively, protecting students from harm and promoting their wellbeing.
- Staff Development: Lead staff professional development and INSET related to students' behaviour and attitudes, ensuring that all staff are equipped to support students effectively.
- Community Engagement: Develop partnerships with parents and the local community, promoting the academy's values and ethos.
- Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare reports for the Principal, Senior Leadership Team, and Governors on areas of leadership, ensuring that the academy's progress is monitored and evaluated effectively.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience of leading teams and contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Behaviour and Attitudes: Expertise in improving student behaviour and attitudes, with a strong understanding of relevant policies and procedures.
- Safeguarding: Strong knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures, with experience of implementing them effectively.
