Join Our Team as a CQC Registered Service Leader

We are thrilled to present an opportunity to become a part of Southdown as a CQC Registered Service Leader within a dynamic Supported Living environment catering to six individuals with Learning Disabilities.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Service Leader, you will be responsible for upholding exceptional standards of care and support. Your role will involve:

  • Leading a dedicated team to ensure the well-being of our clients and staff.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff in managing complex health needs and challenges presented by service users.
  • Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and standards.


Essential Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • Experience in a managerial role, preferably as a Deputy Manager or higher.
  • A background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, particularly those who may present challenges.
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or higher, with a commitment to further management training.
  • A solid understanding of CQC requirements.


Skills and Attributes:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication skills, with knowledge of Makaton or non-verbal communication being advantageous.
  • The ability to foster and develop a committed team of staff.
  • A strong commitment to person-centred, individualized services.
