About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner to join our team at Andover Medical Centre. As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality primary care to our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload and provide a wide range of health services, including consultations, home visits, and prescriptions.
- Make professional decisions in relation to presenting problems and develop care plans for patients.
- Assess health care needs, screen for disease risk factors, and provide health education.
- Record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes and collect data for audit purposes.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with the practice formulary and maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements
- Full registration with the GMC and General Practice training.
- Experience in General Practice as a General Practitioner.
- Understanding of Patient Demand in deprived areas and Clinical Governance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with a wide range of people.
- Proficient in the use of EMIS Web, Docman, and other relevant software.
