Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in Hambleton. As a care assistant, you will work with individuals who require complex care and support, including those with learning disabilities and autism. Your role will involve providing emotional support, building confidence and independence, and assisting with daily tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with daily tasks and activities, such as shopping and meal preparation
  • Support clients with building routines and maintaining independence
  • Work collaboratively with external healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
  • Drive clients to appointments and activities, as required

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Good professional and personal references
