Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching & Assessment:
    • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and assessments to ensure apprentices meet the required standards.
    • Utilize modern technology and learning tools to enhance the learning experience and prepare apprentices for industry demands.
  • Apprentice Support:
    • Provide academic and pastoral support to apprentices, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to succeed.
  • Curriculum Development:
    • Contribute to the planning and development of new courses and standards within the engineering department, ensuring our curriculum remains current and industry-relevant.
    • Participate in team meetings, program reviews, and quality assurance processes to maintain high standards.
  • Employer Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, supporting apprentices in the workplace and ensuring training aligns with industry needs.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in Mechanical Engineering:
    • A strong background in mechanical engineering, with qualifications and experience to teach and assess at Level 3.
  • Passion for Education:
    • A commitment to helping apprentices achieve their full potential through high-quality teaching and assessment.
  • Organizational Skills:
