Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer / Assessor

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineering Lecturer / Assessor to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of apprentices in the engineering sector. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing learners for a wide range of careers and/or higher education, meeting the latest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess trainees working towards their Technical Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Teach on a range of engineering standards in Engineering at Level 3.
  • Provide support and guidance to apprentices throughout their learning journey.
  • Ensure teaching methods and materials meet the latest industry standards.
  • Motivate and engage apprentices to achieve their full potential.
  • Maintain accurate records of apprentice progress and assessments.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to a minimum of Level 4 in Mechanical Engineering (degree preferred).
  • Up-to-date experience of teaching and/or assessing within Mechanical Engineering.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage apprentices.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development in both teaching and engineering fields.
