Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Technician to join our team at Latymer Upper School. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of all production shows, events, and practical drama exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Technical Manager in the planning and execution of all technical aspects of productions
  • Provide technical support for events and exams, including setup, operation, and strike
  • Collaborate with the technical team to maintain and improve the school's technical facilities and equipment
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for technical operations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or educational setting
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of lighting, sound, and stage management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
