About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with Autism, ADHD, or Trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shifts and support the Registered Manager with recruitment, supervision, meetings, and inspections.
  • Support children to have the best quality of life possible, including baking, fun days out, and holidays.
  • Ensure children are kept safe and their plans are suitable for their needs.
  • Monitor their development by keeping our systems and records up to date.
  • Participate in our on-call rota, averaging 1 on-call per week.

Requirements:

  • Patient, compassionate, and resilient, with the ability to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A driving license, as you will be required to drive children to various locations.
  • Flexibility, including sleeping at the home during shifts.
  • A qualification in residential childcare, or a willingness to obtain one within the first 2 years of employment.
