Position: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Dungannon

Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in delivering essential commercial support to our contract and project teams. Your responsibilities will include managing commercial data, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, and collaborating with stakeholders on variations, claims, and payments.

Salary: Based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue sub-contract packages
  • Develop budgets, cash flows, and valuations
  • Engage in negotiations with clients and assess project claims
  • Identify discrepancies and negotiate final accounts
  • Ensure precise reporting and adherence to deadlines

Internal Relationships:

  • Assist commercial teams, estimators, and support personnel
  • Facilitate effective communication between teams

Key Measures & Targets:

  • Accurate monthly forecasting
  • Challenge resource allocation and costs
  • Adhere to deadlines

Key Relationships:

  • Commercial/Contracts Managers, Business Development
  • Purchasing/Procurement

Reporting:

  • Report on financial performance of contracts
  • Ensure accurate cost/value reporting
  • Manage cash flows and forecasts

Processes:

  • Ensure compliance with commercial processes
  • Proactively seek improvements in processes

External Relationships:

  • Ensure appropriate contractual terms
  • Cultivate client relationships
  • Manage subcontractor appointments and negotiations

Job Type: Full-time
