We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team at Urgent Nursing. As a Practice Nurse with a focus on diabetes, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including wound management, immunizations, chronic disease management, and health screenings.
- Support General Practitioner-led clinics, including management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension.
- Administer vaccinations and injections as required.
- Deliver health promotion and education to patients, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal health outcomes.
- Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential)
- Prior experience working as a Practice Nurse in a primary care or General Practitioner setting
- Diploma in diabetes or equivalent experience
- Skills in chronic disease management, immunizations, and wound care
- Cervical cytology and vaccination certification
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
