Project Manager - Fit-out and Refurbishment Expert

Company Overview:

Premises Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Birmingham or Oxford. As a leading consultancy, they deliver premium-quality commercial fit-out projects across various sectors, including corporate, retail, and hospitality. The Role:

  1. Take charge of delivering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
  2. Manage multiple fit-out projects, coordinating between clients, contractors, and designers, while ensuring the smooth delivery of each phase of the project.
  3. Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure design intent and project specifications are fully met.
  4. Manage the procurement of materials and ensure delivery schedules align with project timelines.
  5. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control.
  6. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  7. Identify and mitigate potential risks to keep projects on track and within budget.

Requirements:

  1. Pre and post contract experience managing Fit-out, refurbishment and new build projects across a range of sectors on projects up to £25m.
  2. Must have experience of having worked in a Consultancy background in a property or real estate business.
  3. Experience in Project Management/Employer's Agent/Contract Administration.
  4. A technical understanding and working experience of Agreement for Leases, Purchase Agreements and Development Agreements and negotiations.
  5. Experienced in variety of different methods of procurement and forms of construction contract and essentially JCT DB.

Qualifications:

  1. BSc or BA Degree qualified in Surveying, Construction and/or Engineering.
  2. MRICS in Building Surveying or Project Management.
