Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Surface Chemist and Biofuel Cell Researcher to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for optimizing bioelectrode performance, developing and analyzing data from electrochemistry and surface characterization experiments, and contributing to the development of innovative strategies for converting wastewater into renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities- Meticulously plan and execute experiments to ensure the acquisition of reliable and accurate results.
- Implement electrochemical testing protocols to evaluate the power output of bio-fuel cells.
- Conduct all work in a safe manner according to our Health and Safety policies.
- Diligently record experimental procedures and laboratory results.
- Adhere to high standards of housekeeping throughout the work environment.
- Minimum of an MSc in Surface Chemistry, Nanomaterial Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, with a demonstrated research record in surface chemistry and interface science.
- Extensive hands-on laboratory experience in surface modification and functionalization of electrodes, including solution coating techniques and biocatalyst immobilization.
- Practical experience in a GLP chemistry laboratory, including log-keeping, and traceability management.
- A PhD in a relevant field is highly desirable.
