About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our team at Brighton and Hove Clinic, a CAMHS Tier 4 Eating Disorder Service. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to young people with eating disorders and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing appropriate nutrition care plans, considering risks, stage of recovery, and co-occurring psychiatric and medical conditions.
  • Conducting weekly progress reviews and providing feedback to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Delivering one-to-one nutrition counseling sessions to explore eating behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes about food and health.
  • Providing mealtime support and leading on the management of the dining room and nutrition support strategies.
  • Delivering the Nourish to Flourish psychoeducation group and conducting one-to-one family support sessions.
  • Attending professional meetings with external agencies and conducting pre-admission screenings for new referrals.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • BSc in Dietetics or postgraduate diploma in Dietetics
  • Post-qualification training
  • Post-qualifying experience of working with people with eating disorders, ideally in an inpatient setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of Eating Disorders in children and young people and their impact on both the client group and their families/carers
