Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Full Stack Application Engineer to join our team at Discover Film LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop full stack solutions that meet our business needs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology initiatives
  • Actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management
  • Proactively identify and mitigate issues based on intuition and experience in multiple domains
  • Coach technology communities at Discover Film LLC

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full stack development
  • Strong understanding of programming languages, security, automation, testing, and business domains
  • Experience working in a highly complex and scaled global technology organization
  • Experience working with microservices, Openshift, and Kubernetes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical leadership experience
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and Contract Testing
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment/Testing with Jenkins, Cucumber, Junit, and Gatling
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and Behaviour Driven Development
  • Ability to work with multiple timezones
