The Project: Our client is a leading global bank with Corporate Real Estate (CRE) operations spanning over 60 countries, managing approximately 270 office buildings and 2,500 branches. Their goal for the CRE function is to serve as trusted advisors to their global businesses, balancing service, cost, and risk. They aim to achieve this by collaborating with key strategic industry partners to introduce innovation and new working practices to their workplace. Mace is one of these strategic partners, specifically tasked with establishing an Independent Project Management Office (IPMO).

Role Requirements: This position is integrated within the client organization, necessitating in-office attendance three days a week. The role is based in London.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Foster and utilize relationships with internal functions and stakeholders, such as IT and marketing.
  • Develop a comprehensive communications strategy and annual communications plan in collaboration with the client.
  • Coordinate the communications plan with Managed Delivery Partners (MDP).
  • Facilitate the dissemination of communications, including project design successes and best practices.
  • Encourage team collaboration through workshops, knowledge sharing presentations, and team meetings.
  • Collaborate with the video and photography team to ensure essential content is captured.
  • Conduct research to provide relevant insights and analysis, staying updated on market developments and sharing knowledge with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives or key business enhancements.
  • Utilize communications dashboard data to strengthen stakeholder relationships.
  • Work collaboratively towards achieving net-zero carbon transition goals, managing and communicating associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the professional services and/or building/property industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
  • Experience in developing and executing communications strategies.
  • Proven ability in tactical management and delegation of communications activities.
  • Exhibit behaviors of collaboration, curiosity, contribution, and championing.
  • Possess an international perspective.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Requirements:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.

In this role, you will have access to support from the Stakeholder Services Centre of Excellence within Mace.
