Job Title: Field Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Technician to join our team at Hydro International, a leading global provider of advanced products, services, and expertise in water management.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting various sites, primarily undertaking field measurements of water quantity, depth, quality, rainfall, and other relevant parameters. Additionally, the role involves installing, operating, and maintaining telemetry logging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and record field data using various equipment and techniques
  • Install, operate, and maintain telemetry logging equipment
  • Conduct site visits to collect data and perform maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of hydrological principles and practices

Requirements:

  • GCSE qualifications or equivalent in Geography, Maths, and English
  • Valid UK driving license with a satisfactory driving history
  • Good level of computer literacy (MS Office applications)
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Comfortable working in water and strong swimming skills

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant environmental field
  • Experience with hydrometric field data collection
