About the Role:
This is a 6-month contract position that offers a hybrid work arrangement. As a Technical Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and updating technical proposal/bid documentation for energy security and energy transition engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the creation of technical proposal/bid documentation, collaborating with engineers, sales and business development leads, commercial staff, and other stakeholders to ensure complex technical information is communicated clearly and effectively.
- Develop and write proposal/bid technical submissions that clearly articulate the engineering solutions required to solve the challenges set by the client in their Invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation.
- Collaborate with project delivery SMEs, engineering discipline leads, and cost estimators to gather information and understand the technical aspects of technological solutions, products, systems, and engineering project team structures.
- Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, brevity, and consistency.
- Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to complement written content.
- Maintain and update a library of standard proposal/bid technical documentation, ensuring all materials are current and accessible to support future referencing.
- Implement document revision control measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Requirements:
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple proposal/bid submissions simultaneously.
- Familiarity with content management systems and document control processes.
