Job Summary:
Brook Street Social Care NMR is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Home Manager to join our team. As a Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for the daily care and well-being of children and young people in our residential care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Ensure the efficient operation of the residential home and service in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each child or young person.
- Team Leadership: Support and guide a team of care professionals to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
- Therapeutic Support: Encourage and support children and young people to engage in therapies, education, and life skills development.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all regulatory requirements, including Regulation 44 and Regulation 45 audits, are met.
- Communication: Liaise with internal and external professionals, including commissioning authorities, to ensure the care needs of children and young people are met.
