We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Forensic Specialist to lead our dedicated CAMHS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and forensic psychology services to young people across the South West region.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology and forensic assessment, with experience of working with young people who present with complex mental health difficulties. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of the service, providing clinical and management supervision to junior psychologists and the wider team, and contributing to the development of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions for young people with complex mental health needs.
- Lead the development and implementation of treatment plans, working closely with other professionals to ensure effective care and support.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to junior psychologists and other team members.
- Contribute to the development of the service, including service planning, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to ensure effective service delivery and coordination.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist and Forensic Specialist who can demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services to young people. The successful candidate will have:
- A doctoral qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with young people who present with complex mental health difficulties.
- Experience of leading a team and providing clinical supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
