Exciting Opportunity for a Court of Protection Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Court of Protection specialist to join our growing team in Bristol. As a Private Client Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-regarded team of specialists in Court of Protection law, continually ranking highly in the Legal 500.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dealing with all aspects of Court of Protection work, including making applications to appoint replacement trustees, statutory will, gifting and compromise applications, deputyship administration, and investigating and reinstating the incapacitated person's estate.
  • Working with other teams in the firm where the client requires litigation to be undertaken on their behalf.
  • Providing excellent client service and building relationships of trust and respect with clients.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience, ideally with STEP accreditation.
  • A strong work ethic and inter-personal skills to work collaboratively within our team.
  • Passion for Court of Protection work and a strong attention to detail.
  • Extensive experience within private client and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft packages, including Excel and PowerPoint.
