Neighbourhood Housing Officer

We are seeking a skilled Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our team. As a key member of our housing services team, you will provide a comprehensive tenancy management service, including income recovery, tenancy management, anti-social behaviour, empty property management, letting new homes, and customer viewings.
You will work closely with customers, local agencies, and stakeholders to develop thriving and resilient communities. Your role will involve acting as an ambassador for our organization, engaging with customers to design services that work for them, and improving the environment and their quality of life.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to hold or be willing to work towards a professional housing qualification and have previous experience of working in a similar role. You will have knowledge of current housing legislation and welfare benefits, as well as the ability to provide information, advice, and guidance.
You will be comfortable dealing with problems and complaints, and have a strong customer focus. You will also have the ability to lead, motivate, and enthuse customers to build thriving communities, and experience of multi-agency working, including statutory and voluntary agencies.
