We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team at People Source Consulting trading as Experis. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of our telemetry products and services, including embedded devices and/or software cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and understand market requirements, trends, and competition to develop and communicate product roadmaps.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to provide clear product development prioritization.
- Define product requirements aligning to roadmaps.
- Ensure product documentation, including sales collateral and user guides, are maintained and easy to use and understand.
- Utilize product performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies.
- Utilize KPIs to measure product success and drive continual improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in embedded technology or software solutions utilizing cloud services.
- Customer-facing skillset managing internal & external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Awareness of market pricing and ROI for new developments.
- Proficiency in product management tools, i.e., Jira.
Desirable Skills:
- Wireless cellular communications, i.e., GPRS, 3G, NB-IoT, LTE-M.
- Experience of industrial protocols, e.g., DNP3, Modbus SDI-12.
- Technical background in telemetry or equivalent, i.e., Teleco, IT Networks.
- Experience with products running on cloud platforms, e.g., AWS, Azure.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
