Position Overview

Finlay Jude Associates Ltd is seeking to appoint a Pricing Analyst to support our client in the Bury region. As a vital member of a thriving and expanding team, you will be instrumental in overseeing and sustaining client pricing frameworks, collaborating effectively with various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst:

  • Develop pricing proposals for designated clients, utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as V Lookups and Pivot Tables on a daily basis
  • Offer analytical support and insights for clients and internal teams
  • Evaluate the profitability of products, ensuring proposed pricing aligns with required profit margins
  • Careful management of discount agreements to guarantee precise pricing and mitigate financial risks
  • Engage with key client contacts to finalize pricing agreements
  • Provide comprehensive pricing summaries to internal stakeholders
  • Oversee the workload for assigned clients while collaborating with fellow Pricing Analysts and the Pricing Manager to ensure accuracy
  • Address pricing discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams and clients to find resolutions
  • Assist with any ad-hoc data requests from clients or colleagues
  • Create tailored pricing lists for significant client segments and maintain a repository of pricing documentation
  • Support the team by addressing ad-hoc inquiries to meet client deadlines
  • Continuously seek innovative methods to enhance operational efficiency and contribute ideas for best practices within the business.

Qualifications Required for the Pricing Analyst:

  • Strong numerical aptitude; a sharp eye for detail is essential
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
