About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory team at University Hospital Hairmyres. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop care plans for patients undergoing cardiac catheterisation procedures
  • Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Experience of working in a cardiac catheterisation laboratory or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
