Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy 30-bedded Respiratory ward, delivering care to respiratory patients. As a Patient Services Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting the nursing team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food service, including organizing and assisting patients with menus, preparing and serving meals, and providing drinks and snacks.
- Contribute to the cleaning schedule, ensuring patient bed spaces are ready for changeover.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, a caring disposition, and the ability to work well within a team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Good basic education and basic numeric skills.
- Willingness to complete appropriate qualifications for work-related training.
- Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Able to work alone and with others as part of a team using initiative.
- Previous experience of working with people.
