About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Patient Services Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Patient Services Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the nutrition needs of patients, including:
- Assisting patients at mealtimes and helping them with food where appropriate
- Working alongside nursing staff to promote 'first a drink', helping patients with drinks to support hydration
- Supporting patients to complete their menus, offering help as required and ensuring that the correct menus are ordered
- Completing food and fluid charts and escalating concerns to nursing staff
- Keeping nutrition boards up to date

Person Specification
We are looking for someone who is able to work alone and as part of a team, with previous experience of working with people and basic IT skills. You will also need effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritise work of self and others.
