Senior Credit Risk Leader

About the Role:
CBC Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Risk Leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the credit risk function, ensuring the quality and quantity of new business written, and managing a team of credit analysts and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the credit risk function, sanctioning a range of asset financing transactions generated through broker and vendor/manufacturer relationships.
- Maintain and improve the credit risk framework to ensure the quality and quantity of new business written.
- Manage the credit risk teams to ensure new business applications are underwritten quickly and accurately, in close collaboration with commercial and operational teams.
- Represent the credit risk function at Board level, contributing to future strategic plans.
- Represent credit risk with external parties, providing detailed reports on portfolio and credit risk.
- Personally sanction larger value and more complex transactions, and chair credit committee for transactions in excess of mandated limits.
Requirements:
- An experienced asset finance credit risk professional with a proven background across a range of asset classes.
- Proven leadership skills, able to train, manage, and inspire a team of credit risk analysts and managers.
- A flexible approach, able to stay away from home for a night or two if the need arises.
