About the Role

Berkmann Wine Cellars, the UK's largest family-owned and family-run wine importer, is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the independent specialist division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving profitable and sustainable growth across this dynamic sector.

We're looking for a passionate and driven individual with a deep understanding of the specialist wine market. Ideally, you'll hold a WSET Diploma qualification and possess excellent customer relationship skills. This is an active and visible role that requires strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building local relationships with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive growth across the independent specialist division
  • Align team KPIs to achieve overall business objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Contribute to the performance of the business through effective leadership and management

Working Pattern

This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours from 09:00 to 17:30 (plus an unpaid break of 1 hour). You will be expected to work the hours necessary to meet the needs of the role.
