Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work closely with a challenging pupil with Autism in a well-respected Primary School in Hammersmith & Fulham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a pupil with Autism, helping them navigate challenges and develop positive behaviour strategies.
  • Build a trusting relationship with the pupil, offering consistent encouragement and guidance.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and the SEN team to implement tailored behaviour management plans.
  • Assist the pupil in developing social skills and coping mechanisms that will support their overall well-being and integration into school life.
  • Monitor and record the pupil's progress, adapting strategies as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of Autism and experience working with children who have special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with the pupil and collaborate effectively with staff and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience, with a commitment to making a positive impact on the pupil's educational journey.
