Maintenance Electrician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team of engineers at one of the largest facilities management companies in the UK. This company has a strong presence in London and a portfolio worth over £1 billion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance on emergency lighting systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform water temperature checks to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) to prevent equipment failures.
  • Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS) for optimal performance.
  • Undertake light plumbing tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a maintenance electrician, ideally within a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems and general maintenance tasks. Basic plumbing skills are also desirable.
