Health & Safety Manager - East Yorkshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Manager to join our client's team in East Yorkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional to contribute to a market-leading company and advance their career within the field of health and safety.

Role Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and internal health and safety teams
  • Lead on safety reporting and conduct thorough accident investigations
  • Participate in client health and safety meetings
  • Provide comprehensive support to site teams on all aspects of health and safety
  • Review and refine safe systems of work
  • Attend and provide guidance during safe start meetings
  • Manage day-to-day health and safety activities on site
  • Conduct investigations into accidents or incidents
  • Oversee on-site occupational health
  • Coordinate training programs for non-health and safety personnel
Role Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a demanding site-based health and safety role within the construction industry
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client-facing roles
  • Technical expertise and experience supporting health and safety practices in the construction and building services sectors
  • Proficiency in IT applications and report writing
Desirable Qualifications
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • CSCS Professional card
  • First aid training
