The Role:
  • Minimise production downtime, by carrying out routine scheduled maintenance (PPMs) and respond to unplanned breakdowns with the stipulated timeframes.
  • Ensure that production operations maximise output and minimise downtime safely through regular planned maintenance.
  • Work on an array on fabrication, cutting, pressing, shot blasting & spraying equipment

Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner, working alongside engineering and production colleagues to minimise disruption.

  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
  • Carry out all work according to Safe Systems of Work, Risk Assessments, SOPs, Dynamic Risk Assessments and company policies and procedures.
The Requirements:
  • Mechanical Bias preferred
  • Previous experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer within Plant, Manufacturing, FMCG, Moulding would be advantageous
  • Relevant qualification or time served engineers (over 10 years experience for time served / City & Guilds / NVQS)
  • A good understanding of hydraulic & pneumatic systems would be advantageous
  • Open for training & development
