Job Title: CAD Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our design team at CV Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and prototyping new product ideas, working closely with the design team and sales team to deliver bespoke drawings and site-specific schematics.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Design Team Leader and sales team with bespoke drawings and site-specific schematics for projects.
  2. Utilise CAD modelling for site-specific requirements.
  3. Assist with CAD modelling on prototypes of any new products.
  4. Be creative with solutions and ideas, contributing actively to meetings and ideas sessions.
  5. Create and design a broad range of technical literature across various mediums.
  6. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations associated with the work.
  7. Organize and maintain the Technical Library, ensuring all information is easily accessible.
  8. Provide technical support to end-users, ensuring expertise in the field.
  9. Manage administration created by own work, utilizing the company CRM system.
Requirements:
  1. Computer literate in 2D & 3D CAD packages such as SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
  2. Literate in Microsoft suite.
  3. Strong understanding of Adobe Suite programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  4. Product Design Degree/CAD Engineering degree to level 2:1 and above.
  5. Design and/or CAD work experience.
  6. Technical placement experience.
  7. Experience of Revit/BIM is advantageous.
  8. A team player with the ability to work on solo projects.
  9. Hunger for knowledge and staying up-to-date within the industry.
  10. Full UK driving licence and a vehicle.
